Corona not spread after 11 days from positive patients, study revealed

 Scientists have discovered that corona virus patients do not spread the infection after 11 days, even if they remain corona positive on the 12th day.  According to a report by nypost.com, the study of the Singapore National Center for Infectious Diseases (NCID) and the Academy of Medicine revealed this.

 Till now it has been understood that as long as corona patients are positive, corona infection can spread.  At the same time, researchers have also said that corona patients can spread the infection 2 days before symptoms appear.

 Scientists have said that during the study it was seen that corona patients have the ability to spread the infection 7 to 10 days after the symptoms are seen.

 The Singapore National Center for Infectious Diseases studied about 73 corona patients during which they came to know a new thing.  Scientists said that it was observed that after 11 days, the corona virus could not be isolated or cultured.

 Scientists have said that a week after the symptoms appear, active viral replication begins to decrease in corona patients.  On the basis of new information, hospitals can decide on when to discharge patients.

 Doctors believe that corona patients are cured only after having negative tests twice in many countries of the world including America.  Although the sample size of the study done in Singapore was small but new information may be important for doctors.

 Liao Yi Sin, executive director of Singapore's NCID, told the Strait Times that despite the sample size being small, researchers are confident about the new information.  Researchers believe that similar results will be seen in larger sample sizes.

 Last week, American company Moderna informed about the first round trial of its Corona vaccine.  In the first round, only eight people were vaccinated.  But the company said that the vaccine seems safe and produces immune responses.

सिंगापुर के NCID की एग्जेक्यूटिव डायरेक्टर लिओ यी सिन ने स्ट्रेट टाइम्स से कहा कि सैंपल साइज छोटा होने के बावजूद नई जानकारी को लेकर रिसर्चर्स विश्वस्त हैं. रिसर्चर्स का मानना है कि बड़े सैंपल साइज में भी ऐसे ही परिणाम देखने को मिलेंगे.

बीते हफ्ते अमेरिकी कंपनी मॉडर्ना ने अपनी कोरोना वैक्सीन के पहले राउंड के ट्रायल की जानकारी दी थी. पहले राउंड में सिर्फ आठ लोगों को वैक्सीन दी गई थी. लेकिन कंपनी ने कहा कि वैक्सीन सुरक्षित मालूम पड़ती है और इम्यून रेस्पॉन्स पैदा करती है.

वहीं, चीन में बनाई गई एक कोरोना वैक्सीन का करीब 108 लोगों पर ट्रायल किया गया. मेडिकल जर्नल The Lancet में प्रकाशित रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, ट्रायल के दौरान पता चला कि वैक्सीन वायरस के खिलाफ इम्यून रेस्पॉन्स पैदा करती है और कारगर साबित हो सकती है.
